FIRST SEMESTER – June to November

IQAC MEETING WITH PRESIDENT OF THE COLLEGE ON 8-07-2018 AT 6.30 PM

VENUE OF THE MEETING: President’s Chamber

1. Meeting with Teaching Faculty
During the year 2018-19, a meeting with teaching faculty was convened 0n 29th June. The agenda of the meeting was to deliberate upon-Admission, results revised new syllabi time-table teaching plan, departmental plans cells and committees works, etc, mentoring teachers exchange programme extension activities, department wise seminars/conferences-regional-state-national-international.

For the students the discussion was made to conduct certificate courses students exchange programme workshops/seminars for the students field visits/field project works conducted thought MUs and linkages,

Career counselling academic advising research oriented enrichment activities, remedial classes for slow or weak learners classroom activities like-quizzes group discussions, interactive sessions to be part of students learning process to be undertaken.

Incubation centre-earning and learning skills and feedback mechanism was discussed. Placement cell to be activated to organize campus drives once in a year which should be training cum result oriented.

Management information system proposed to be installed and upgraded status report of departments meetings and implementation of the works done to be regularly accorded and recorded outsourcing resource persons/expertise to be invited for special lectures including local colleges.

New revised framework of SSR and AQAR was discussed. Peer team recommended structured mentoring programme was also discussed.


2. Meeting with the Honourable president of the management [sharnbasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha]
During the month of July – a meeting with the Honourable president of the management [Sharanabasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha] was convened on 8th July, 2018 to convey the information about the academic progress made in the preceding year discuss the recommendations of the NAAC PEER TEAM to place the matter for discussion about the future developmental projects for the students as well as the teachers plan out and chalk out.

3. Meeting with the Honourable Secretary
Meeting with the Honourable Secretary of the Sangha Sri Basavaraj Deshmukh was held on 12th July 2018 to deliberate upon to start PG courses [recommended by the NAAC PEER TEAM] establishment of Incubation centre [ recommended by the NAAC PEER TEAM] placement cell- training-cum-result oriented placement cell to be established [recommended by the NAAC PEER TEAM] constructions under RUSA to be undertaken one or two day national seminar /conference to be organized was proposed state level NSS camp to be organized was proposed computer lab to be extended regional based research project about folklore was proposed.

4. Meeting with the IQAC Body Members
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss various aspects of academic planning with the IQAC body and seek suggestions and guidelines to impart quality education. The discussion began with the presentation of existing picture of academic excellence of the college and various activities undertaken proposed to be undertaken by the college. Management nominees suggested going for skills development in compliance with the local needs in collaboration with the sharnbasva University, placement cell to be jointly collaborated, structured mentoring system to be adopted which should work constantly during the time of admission, results and placement as they are integral part of the institution.

Professional counsellors psychiatrist to be invited to help students to the practical life of world around.

Accordingly other IQAC meetings with the students like Hostel SC/ST alumni teacher-parents meet were convened during the academic year 2018-19 to address different issued of the stakeholders.
